PHOTOGRAPHY 101

Girls Town Jerusalem was excited to be able to recently offer a group of interested girls a through, basic photography course. Given by a volunteer that has complete a wide variety of courses from the Galitz Photography School in Tel Aviv, our girls are receiving a custom-made 10 week compact course covering all the basics plus much more. They have learned many basic photographic concepts and terminology, such as exposure, shutter, aperture, ISO, and depth of field. As well, they were introduced to ideas about photographing landscapes, wildlife, portraits and many other types of photography. Best of all, the recent trip to the North provides tons of opportunities to test their newly acquired skills. Those that are participating in the course were even accused by their friends of not even enjoying the chilly white stuff all around them!! They were quite obsessed with getting it PICTURE PERFECT!!
